Tetraethylenepentamine (TEPA)
Category: Polyamine / Epoxy Hardener / Chemical Intermediate
Description
Tetraethylenepentamine (TEPA) is a highly reactive, viscous polyamine used extensively in epoxy formulations, corrosion inhibitors, chelating agents, and fuel additives. It contains multiple primary and secondary amine groups, offering excellent reactivity, strong adhesion, and enhanced curing properties in polymer systems. TEPA is valued for its ability to improve cross-linking, chemical resistance, and mechanical strength in epoxy-based systems.
