Description: Refined Glycerine is a high-purity, colourless, viscous liquid derived from vegetable or synthetic sources. It is odourless, chemically stable and hygroscopic, offering excellent humectancy, solvency and plasticizing properties. Available in USP/Pharma, Food and Industrial grades, it is suitable for pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, food & beverage, and a variety of industrial applications where high glycerol content and low impurity levels are required.
Applications:
- Pharmaceuticals: excipient, cough syrups, suppositories, topical formulations.
- Personal Care & Cosmetics: moisturizers, creams, lotions, soaps, toothpaste, hair care products.
- Food & Beverage: humectant, sweetener, preservative, carrier for flavours.
- Tobacco: humectant and processing aid.
- Paints & Coatings: plasticizer and solvent in alkyds and specialty resins.
- Chemical Intermediates: production of nitroglycerin, propylene glycol, surfactants.
- Textile & Paper: softener, anti-static additive.
- Agriculture & Feed: component in certain feed blends and agro-formulations.
