Hydrocarbon Solvent / Extraction Solvent / Industrial Chemical
Description: n-Hexane (Normal Hexane) is a highly refined aliphatic hydrocarbon solvent composed primarily of straight-chain hexane (C₆h4₄). It is a clear, colorless, volatile liquid with a mild, gasoline-like odor and excellent solvency for oils, fats, and waxes. Due to its low boiling point, high volatility, and low residue, n-Hexane is widely used in vegetable oil extraction, polymer manufacturing, and industrial cleaning applications. It offers consistent performance, high purity, and meets stringent industrial and food-grade extraction standards (where applicable).
Applications:
1. Edible Oil Extraction: Widely used as a solvent for extraction of vegetable oils from seeds (soybean, groundnut, cottonseed, sunflower, etc.). Offers high extraction efficiency and quick solvent recovery.
2. Polymer & Adhesive Industry: Used as a processing solvent for rubber, adhesives, and sealants. Acts as a carrier solvent in polymerization and coating formulations.
3. Industrial Cleaning: Serves as a degreasing solvent for metal parts, textiles, and machinery.
4. Chemical Synthesis & Laboratory Use: Used as a non-polar solvent in chemical reactions, chromatography, and analytical testing.
