Epoxy Resin 75%
Rs 155 per Kg + GSt as applicable
(Also known as Bisphenol-A Epoxy Resin Solution / Liquid Epoxy Resin 75% in Solvent)
Category:
Synthetic Resin / Reactive Polymer / Coating Raw Material
Description:
Epoxy Resin 75% is a solution of Bisphenol-A based epoxy resin (typically Epoxy Equivalent Weight 450–550 g/eq) dissolved in an organic solvent such as xylene or butyl glycidyl ether. This grade is used where lower viscosity, better processability, and faster curing are required compared to 100% solid epoxy resins. It provides excellent adhesion, chemical resistance, mechanical strength, and gloss retention, making it ideal for protective coatings, adhesives, and composites.
Applications:
1. Industrial Coatings Used in marine, pipeline, floor, and anti-corrosive coatings for strong chemical and abrasion resistance.
2. Adhesives & Sealants Base resin for epoxy adhesives, grouts, and structural bonding agents.
3. Electrical & Electronics Used in insulating varnishes, potting, and encapsulating compounds for electrical components.
4. Construction Chemicals In epoxy flooring, repair mortars, and waterproof coatings where high mechanical strength is needed.
5. Composites & Laminates Binder resin in glass fiber and carbon fiber composites.
